Dr. Chrisna Krügel became a registered medical practitioner in 2019 after completing her studies at the University of the Free State Medical School in Bloemfontein. 

She earned a post-graduate Diploma in Paediatrics from the CMSA after gaining experience in the Paediatric department for one year.

In addition, she holds an Advanced Life Support qualification for both adults and children. Dr.
Krügel is deeply committed to assisting patients in critical and life-threatening conditions and provides Advanced Trauma Life Support training to medical professionals and doctors.

Dr Etienne van Zyl

Dr Etienne van Zyl

Dr Van Zyl has 30 years of experience as a medical doctor. He registered as a medical doctor in 1990 after completing his studies at the University of Pretoria. Initially, he practised as a primary care and trauma doctor while managing a trauma unit in Pretoria before relocating to Citrusdal in the Western Cape. In 2011, Dr Van Zyl became a registered Occupational Health Practitioner, primarily serving the Citrusdal and the greater West Coast and Winelands areas in assisting farms, packaging companies, Green energy companies, Mines as well as the Transport sector with their occupational health needs.

He has since opened an occupational health care practice in Somerset West, where he continues to provide primary care services as an experienced and dedicated physician.

Performing Medical Evaluations

Dr. van Zyl empowers businesses by offering a range of medical assessments, including pre-employment, periodic, fitness-to-work, and exit medicals, as required by the Occupational Health and Safety Act. This
includes evaluations prescribed by the Construction Regulations 2014, such as eye screening, audiometry, urine testing, lung function tests, and completing Annexure 3.

Performing Risk Assessments

To comply with the Occupational Health and Safety Act, companies must identify potential hazards and health risks by conducting a Hazard Identification and Risk Assessment for all workers.

Planning and Implementing Biological Monitoring Programs

Biological monitoring programs use analytical chemistry to measure toxic chemical exposure in workers exposed to hazardous chemicals like pesticides and poisons. Monitoring is compulsory for those exposed to substances listed in Table III of the Regulations for Hazardous Chemical Substances.
